Takeaways

Bring sharper patterns back to production.

Six practical lenses for building interfaces that stay fast, inclusive, and straightforward to evolve.

  1. Modern CSS strategies

Use container queries, cascade layers, and resilient layout primitives without specificity debt.

  2. Accessibility patterns

Design keyboard flows, semantic states, and feedback that work beyond the happy path.

  3. UI performance

Find rendering bottlenecks, protect interaction latency, and ship less JavaScript by default.

  4. Design systems

Turn tokens and component APIs into a system teams can actually adopt and maintain.

  5. Testing discipline

Choose high-signal tests, reduce brittle coverage, and make UI changes safer to review.

  6. Component architecture

Separate behavior from presentation and keep complex component boundaries legible.
